Humble found objects are transformed into something removed from their original use. I aim to simultaneously highlight the original everyday qualities of the components that make up the work while inviting the viewer to imagine beyond this reality. High tech electronic technology is parodied in the use of the pixilated image, and the instability and degradation of electronic imagery is deliberately referenced. Use of bottle tops is an extension of noticing the potential of discarded or overlooked materials and detritus.
